This is a puppet show of fables that I did in Spring 2010 as a final project in my Twist class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I collected stories from friends and family by asking them simply to tell me any story – it could be a real experience, a story they had heard, one they constructed, anything. I recorded the stories as they were told to me and then selected three stories to use as fables in my puppet show. I crocheted animal character puppets out of yarn that I had spun and dyed throughout the semester and performed the show during our critique on the last day of class.

The Characters of the Fables include Cricket and Frog from the first Fable, Alligator and Mouse from the second Fable, and Bee and Ant from the third Fable:
